Yeah could you tell us a little bit more about its husbandry? I think most seahorses need specific setups but if this species is different and viable for reef tanks it'd be a huge plus to know
captive bread or wild caught?
"eats frozen mysis from time to time"...does that mean it needs live foods, and occasionally eats frozen? or does it always eat frozen foods.
how old/long have you had the SH?
which sex, and has it ever had a mate?
sorry for all the questions
Tom, that 29 tall in my garage would be a great seahorse tank!!!! wasn't able to sell it in the reef garage sale.
Got it locally from nolans and cant tell you whether its captive bread or wild caught.. does both.. i mean i feed both... to mix it up..
cant tell you on the sex...
all i know is that the 12 gallon is probably not going to work long term ...
Seahorse should be in species only tanks, and have many specific requirements. I'd suggest doing some research at www.seahorse.org before even considering keeping these guys...
