this is my orange spot filefish he is eating happily on brine
but i was wondering if anyone has advice on how to get him onto other foods
he is tank bred

Now that the fish is eating, you'll eventually want to get it off the Artemia unless you're gutloading them. Even then, you'll still want to get the fish some meatier foods as it no doubt needs to gain some weight (OSFF's take quite awhile to fatten up).

Try NLS pellets, Nutramar Ova (or other roe), frozen cyclopeeze (not the FD stuff), mini mysis, shaved salmon flesh (ours love it), etc. Your best bet is getting the fish a lot of food and giving it a varied diet.

BTW, I hope that cleaner wrasse dials it back a notch...it's harassing your OSFF to the point of stressing it.

hes been hreat with corals but ive only had him 3 days
nutrimar ova isnt sold in the uk,
but i will try some of the other foods

We've had our OSFF for over 3 years, but not in a reef setup. We started from scratch, and weaned them ourselves, so initally, we added a few browned-out acros we got very cheaply just to get them some nutrition while we weaned them.
