Our male is definitely the dominant fish of the pair. At one point, we were close to separating them, but he backed off his "All the food is MINE" 'tude.
Strange that I had not seen this behavior at dinner time until about ten minutes ago. My male has not been very aggressive at dinner and the female has acted great amongst the quick and agile chromis in the tank when I've been feeding. Once the chromis got used to the turkey baster as well the male did not have as much luck getting to the brine he liked so much.
I could not find the mesh algae clip at the LFS but used the one I already had that I had originally thought would be used for holding macros in place in the fuge. I put a chunk of the regular rogger's on it about 30 minutes ago and the fish didn't make note whatsoever until 15 minutes later. Then the female started chowing down:

Then the male realized it was tasty :spin3: :spin1: :spin3: FINALLY EATING SOMETHING THAT ISN'T BRINE! --> I think this is more natural for him and he appears to be much more interested...but he doesn't like his woman getting too close...

The good thing is that the female eats just fine without the clip so I'm not worried. I can always order a pink one and have a little his and her buffet
