Orange Spotted Goby

Hello all,
I have a Orange Spotted Goby that came with my tank along with some other fish, but I haven't seen the orange in a month if not longer.... Is this typical of this fish to hide like this? It's crazy that I haven't seen him! I have a Yellow Watchman that hides, but even he comes out at feeding time.

What gives?

how bug is that tank cause those two gobys might have gotten into a fight and the YWG won!!

It's possible he's still in there, also possible he's not. Is the tank covered? He could have jumped out (or into the overflow).

Hmmm I'll have to check in there. Wasn't awhare that they were jumpers.

Lol!! Yep he's in the overflow! Now how to get him out... I'll have to stop by my lfs tmrw and see if they have a long net! Crazy!

Pretty crazy I just snagged MY orange spot out of MY overflow about an hour ago. LOL I tell ya that's funny.

I know Mine was there for about a week at least. I'm sure he was eating pods that were in there.
Anyhow after a minute of chasing him in there with a net,(no special one), he got tired and I was able to get him.

Actually used a net, which was about 18" long. And a telescoping rake.

Lol! Funny stuff! Maybe I should put some netting or something on top of the overflows... Have to see. Yea, hopefully my lfs has something like that, don't want to hurt him either... Well congrats on your find and retrieval! Hopefully mine will go as smooth!!

be sure to make a 'wall' of eggcrate, or theres some knitting fabric?!? in hobby lobby, that's a little easier to manage and fab. if you just lay it on top, im sure if it jumped again, it would be laying up there. :headwalls:

Lol, good idea, that smiley guy looks like my Goby stuck in my overflow haha!
