I have an orange tree sponge that I've had for 6 months. It's starting to recede from the top and it is turning white on the side. Can anyone tell me if there is anything I can do? It is in my seahorse tank. Thanks.

Nope, it's dying. Mine lasted about that long too. Is started to shrink up and some areas turned white. I don't think these get deadly toxic until they are crumbling but with seahorses I would get to a qt tank to try to save it without risking the fish. Bummer. Good luck.
