Orange Yumas Melting

My prized and favorite coral is melting away, no other shroom is bothered, no other coral is bothered. I am wondering if there is a virus or something that got into the water and had killed by Yumas. Anybody have any suggestions on a remedy?

no change in lighting or flow.
I bought some frags and I wonder if there was a"bug" that is now wiping out the Yumas

Oy...the only pest I've heard to kill them would be plan. flatworms, and it would take quite a few and you would surely spot them around the yuma mouth.

If no one helps here, try the corallimorph sub-forum.

Yumas are quite temperamental. I picked up a rock full of nice yumas - they all melted except one and have been growing back at a solid rate.

Even if it melts/dies, leave the rock in unless it poses an obvious problem for the tank. I have had them "die" and vanish completely from a visual perspective, only to pop up out of the seemingly bare rock months later.
