I was told by my LFS that this 24" Orbit Marine LED light set would put out plenty of light to support a RBTA.
This also coming from the same person who tore his foot and discounted him by half. That's another story.
So, this light set is on a 36g bow front and I have only seen this anemone get smaller and smaller (after its foot healed of course) since I have had him. Needless to say, I didn't know what a starving anemone looked like but now I do.
He was inflating after each expelling of waste so I assumed all was well. But gradually he has gotten so little and his tentacles will not grab food either. I recently tried putting food near the mouth but he won't take it.
At what point should I pull the trigger and remove the anemone? Will this lightning be enough to support a future anemone? Thanks for any input you can give.
