Orchid dottyback or Exquisite Firefish

Longnose hawkfish, Jawfish, Fairy Wrasse

Skip the dottyback: predator and hard to catch. THe firefish will be jump prone: be sure to have a jump shield in place or it will be on the floor, alas. OR down the slits in the overflow if you have overflow slits.

I'm sure it doesn't hold a candle to my jawfish lol. I lost sleep from it splashing and jumping so much when I first got it. Not only do I have a canopy but I have also screened it in myself and added a block off on the overflow, jumping will be no issue in my tank lol.

I would add a dottyback last. I would think that you could add two or three more in a 55. The ORA orchid is mildly aggressive which is alot better than the other dottybacks, however I would still add one last! No clowns? Maybe a few cardinalfish and a firefish?

Yeah I am planning on getting another eventually but my tank was just upgraded about two and a half weeks ago so I am taking it slow. Maybe a maroon clown or picasso in the future. A guy I know is looking to get rid of his firefish and dottyback cause hes moving. 15 for either.

If they are already together i would take them both. They are both small fish. Do you have a QT?

No qt but he is near by and keeps a pretty tight ship so I am not very concerned.
