Can someone help me out with this list of fish? I am looking to find out the least to most aggressive of these fish. Thanks.
2 Ocellaris clowns
1 Powder blue tang
1 Yellow watchman goby
1 lawnmower blenny
3 spotted cardinalfish
1 foxface lo
1 blue throat trigger
1 Mandarin

mandy
cardinal

foxface
watchman
trigger

blenny
clowns
tang

I color-coded the fish into "groups" with green being least aggressive and red being most aggressive, as well as the stocking order i'd follow. However, do bear in mind that fish are individuals, and your mileage may vary...

Thanks for the quick response. I hadn't realized the blenny was that aggressive. any suggestions on something to replace it with? Thanks.

A cockatoo waspfish (Ablabys taenianotus) is the same general shape, and is also a bottom-dweller, but has a GREAT personality and is very passive towards tankmates.

They're venomous, but you'd have to work pretty darned hard to get popped. Our specimen will actually sit in my palm every so often. They're very good eaters and have small mouths, so most smaller fish are safe with them.

Here's a quick blurb on them, along with a few photos from our website:

This is my first reef, and am not sure how comfortable I am with poisonous or venomous fish. Does anyone have other suggestions?

I was reading somewhere and a lfs owner was saying how you would have to really tick it off for it to poison you. Just wear gloves while handling. But, if you don't want it, then there are plenty of other options. Also, how big is this tank?
