Ordering Bulbs

did you look at both premium aquatics and hellolights >
both places had bulbs less that $15. Just trying to help :)

One of the tanks we need a light for is my seahorse (brian broke the bulb setting up the tank). I check both those places hellolights has the bulb I need for $21.99 on sale + shipping....premium aquatics as the bulb for $34.95 + shipping...the place Brian is talking about has 2 of the bulbs for $27 including tax ($18 + $9 tax), so even with the shipping I think they end up being cheaper. I'm not sure about the other bulbs that we need for the other tank. The guy said he doesn't combine shipping, but would give a deal if more than 20 bulbs.

Totally what you need for the given fixture. the mentioned prices were for some common 55/65 watt bulbs. That said- I tried some of the coralvue bulbs when they came out for a new 400W halide bulb. totally killed my corals on any vertical surface. Took 6 months to recover... Needless to say for those bulbs, I'll let others be the guinea pigs.

I'm currently using XM bulbs, which are reasonably new to the market, and about $50/bulb. Much better when I started in this hobby...... Wish gas were the same way.
