Yup, that's right. I don't know exactly when the prices will be updated, probably sometime tomorrow afternoon if I remember right from last time.

anybody check to see if the prices were updated yet?

Haven't seen a change (but don't know how it would show up.)

Also haven't seen an email from them saying my prices are updated as their site says you will get when they make the change.
 
Well i just tried to sign in and it said there is no record of my email address when i tried to reset my password. now what?!?!
 
ok I just had to re register as well and I noticed by my name it says (retail) should it say something different? How can I tell if I'm getting the right price for the group buy. Sorry I don't mean to be a pita!
 
Hmm...the site didn't recognize my password but it did say that a new password was sent when I used the "forgot password" button. Nothing in the in box however....I'll try again tomorrow.

Thanks again for all your work setting this up. I'm sure it is all going to shake out OK.
 
I'm sorry about the problems everyone is having. I don't think it went into effect for some reason, I'm not seeing any lower prices than the preferred prices I usually see. I'm going to call them first thing in the morning to see what's going on.

I'll also ask about the forgot password email. I know it ended up in the spam folder/got blocked for me and at least one other person, so I'd check there.
 
I called and left them a voicemail about the prices and email/password issue that most people are having, hopefully he'll get back to me quickly. I'm sorry everyone that this hasn't gone as planned.
 
I'm not sure if it went to the group buy organizers or everyone who signed up, but Andrew at BulkReefSupply just sent this out:

2. Once you login you should see your name and customer status just to the left of the search box. If it says "Hi Your Name, (Reef Club Group Buy)" you were successfully updated as part of the group buy.

3. The majority of products are discounted. However, some manufacturer's require us to honor MAP pricing. Those items are already discounted to their maximum and there is no further group buy discount.

4. If someone missed the original signup: they are free to sign up at any time before the group buy ends.

5. Preferred Customer Pricing: Each participant receives automatic and permanent Preferred Pricing for future orders, which is generally between retail and group buy prices. This upgrade will automatically happen at the end of your group buy week and is only available for participants who signed up for the group buy.

My account was 'good' on the new site and I just logged in and had the lower pricing status so it is working now for me at least.
