Organ pipe coral

Wasent positive if i should post this here or not oh well.Anyways i bought an organ pipe coral frag about 3 weeks ago and havent seen any growth.Anyone have any ideas why? its opens up beautifully but hasent grown any new polyps.Anyone have any ideas why? maybe Calc is off?Everything else in my tank is thriving

Give it a little time, once they settle in they grow like crazy, they aren't difficult to keep at all. As long as its opening up I wouldn't worry about it. I bought a piece the size of a racket ball and it was the size of a salad plate in about 6 months.

Mine spreads similar to GSP with an initial mat, then it begins to grow its skeleton once it encrusts...it even encrusts on itself, its a really interesting coral.
