OrionN Green Gigantea

You guys will think that I am gloating, which I am :). I will try not to goat too much and will stop posting every day about him. He is really doing good. Getting a littel more expanded today, to about 5 inches. The seller stated that he is about 6 inches in his DT. I bought the anemone on line on 11/19 but did not get him for about 1 months. Shipping problem and weather delay. I was on needle and coal for the whole time. Fortunately the seller was very good and inform me of all the delay and why.

Here is the picture the seller send to me on 11/19/2014. When I saw this, there is no way that I cannot say yes.

The anemone is doing so well that I decided to put him into my DT this AM, a few minutes ago. He is attached to a piece of LR so transfer was easy. The only problem was that it took some doing for me not to transfer the two anemones in the QT with my Green Gigantea :)
Here he is just a few minutes after transfer. I change water from DT to QT ans temp was the same so it was just scoop him out and drop him in, literally.

that is as nice looking and healthy as it gets, doesnt come any better than that. its like moving from the ocean to your tank :)

After a long long hunt, I finally got a very nice small Green Gigantea. I just got him into my QT, not more than 2 minutes ago before I took the first picture. Here he is. Best of luck to me :)
Pay no mind to the picture of the Purple Bonsai

Looks Great!

Your nems look great! Good luck with your new one. Just one thing though if there is ever a nem shortage everyone is gonna come rushing over to you..

He is a little contracted but not deflated. My Ca reactor sprung a leak last week, I have to take it off line and lost about 10 gal of water. It is a good think that I don't have float valve control top off, so I did not have Kalk dumped into the tank. That would crash the tank for sure. As it is, I just have a wet floor and have to added in more salt water, and tank the reactor off line. My tank used so much Ca and Alkalinity that they bottom out. I have to added a lot of two parts. Got my Ca reactor back on line yesterday. Just check this AM, my level is acceptable.
Ca 400
Alkalinity 3.20
Magnesium 1410
Temp 81 degree
Salinity 35 ppt.
I hope just the instability of the chemical level irritated my small Gigantea. I think I may have added Bicarb too quickly. The other anemones, included three other Gigantea's seem fine. The only coral that show a little irritation was my Elegance.

Will see how things are over the next few days.
