Looks like the green has the foot in the substrate. Interesting. A couple I have, originally had the foot in/on the sand too. Once they "settled" in, the foot moved to under the rock, to attach to the rock instead of the sand. They didn't move, just re-adjusted the attachment. It will be interesting to see where that foot ends up over time.
Update on my Green Gigantea. I am happy to say he completely recovered. I will intervene and stop any of my anemone from eating a Bristle worm in the future. Here is a picture of the green Gigantea this AM. he have grown a little, up to about 6 inches now.
Looks like you will have this green gig the size of your purple in no time. Looks good, good color.
Looks like it's foot moved, closer to the rock than the previous pic.
Picture today. I removed some rock and got a group picture of my 5 carpets. This tank is really wall to wall carpets. Please excuse the sands on the corals and anemones. The green carpets growing quickly as can be seen in the group picture.

He really did not do well, He started to go down hill. I took him out and treated him but it did not help. He died. I am not sure that it is because of the bristle worm or not. He just did not do well after eating the worm, get worst and start to deflates.
Anyway, I pull this tread up again because I got a new Green Gigantea. Even nicer color than that one I had. Thanks Anthony (AD87).
This is a picture of him on arrival on 1/8/2016 and after been in my office fank for 30 hrs or so.
