Osmolator 3155 ?'a

45 days ago, I purchased and installed a Tunze Osmolator Universal 3155. I love it, it works great. Currently, I'm topping off with pure ro/di water. I've been maintaining the alk independantly of the 3155.

Can I add supplements to the top off water used with my 3155 to keep my alk in balance?

Yes, Kalkwasser and very alkaline solutions damage the seal between the DC motor and the prop and will shorten pump life. Most additives though wil do no harm. I routinely use mine to dose fertilizer to my freshwater plant tanks and I use the kalkwasser reactor on my Marine tanks to dose kalk.
