Hi,
I recently purchased the 3155 osmolator and it seems to work a bit strange.
During initial setup everything worked fine the pump stops when the water level reaches the optical sensor. Just to be safe I simulated a powerfailure to make sure everything worked.
So I hit the switch that shuts down all power to the tank, wait a few seconds and switch it back on again. Now the fun starts......the osmolator looks dead, none of the leds light up. I unplugged the power adapter to the osmolator and plugged it in again, now the pump goes beserk and just starts pumping even though the optical sensor is well below the water surface, the "Too high level" sensor didn't stop it either, I had to remove the power.
Scratching my head I let the device rest for a day before trying again....
Now it works better but it still does not stop when it reaches the optical sensor, the green "level" light goes on instantly when the water surface reaches the sensor but the pump continues to pump for about 10 sec before stopping, it stops by itself before the "Too high" sensor is reached.
The "Too high" sensor seems to work and stops the pump instantly if activated with an alarm sounding (can this be disabled without soldering).
Any help is greatly appreciated!
