Osmolator anti siphon valve

I have my ATO water level above my discharge tube. Is there something I can do or maybe some kind of small anti siphon valve that I can purchase to stop the siphoning effect?

The only foolproof way of defeating the siphon is to have the output of the hose higher than the water level in the resivior water is being pulled from. All check valves fail at some point so I would not rely on one for this.

Not to mention it sounds like you need to stop the water in the same direction the check valve would have to open normally to top off, a check valve would not work as a result. You need to raise the top off tube or lower the reservoir level.

My friend has the same problem and he ended up plumbing his discharge tube into his overflow box with no problems. Everything else stays in the sump.
