SALT LIFE
i bought a osmolator from marine depot over a year ago today i noticed after a water change the pump woudnt pump water so i unplug it plugged it in it didnt beep and just the one green light came on i tapped the face the the yellowish light came on pump water for a split second and stop i unplugged it tryed again and the same thing happened? what can be done about this

Any chance you can get me the exact date of purchase? The 3155 has been around for over a decade and about every year their is a revision to the board and Nov 2011 their was a big change to the board to microprocessor based controls. The differences are sufficient to change the causes of the error you describe and will help me figure out what is wrong. In general I would interpret an essentially perpetual green light as either an optic sensor that is hazed over by calcium or salt and needs to be soaked in vinegar for a few hours or an optic sensor that has failed and needs to be replaced.

I purchased it nov 24 2011 from brs I thought this one was from marine depot.. I tried to upload my receipt but faild

I don't need the copy of the reciept, just the date of purchase to try to narrow down the board type. I think that the most likely issue is the optic sensor has failed if you are sure it is clean. It would be best to send it in for repair. I do all the repairs and next week I am on vacation, you are welcome to send it, it will be received but I would not get it repaired until the following week. I think it is an older board design as the production of the new style started in Mid November 2011 and was not fully phased in so it was the only model available until Feb 2012, the new style will always flash all four lights when first plugged in.
