Osmolator issue

Hello Roger,

Without warning it seems my optic sensor has stopped working on my three year old Osmolator. I have gone and soaked it and gently rubbed the eye with vinegar as i have in the past, but to no avail. Everything else checks out okay so I assume my 'old reliable' sensor has finally given in. I have not checked the connections thoroughly because the pump starts briefly when first powered on (as always) but will not respond to a low water level. Let me know what you think

It could be that the optic sensor has failed, it is not that hard to replace, if that is all it is I can repair it for $40. Why not send it in, worst case I will get you a discounted replacement.

Hello, I seem to be having the same issue. I'm going to try soaking the sensor in vinegar for a couple of hours this time to see if that resolves the problem. If not, I would like to send mine in for service as well. Do you require the entire unit (pump and all) or just the sensor and controller? Please let me know. Thank you!

It is best to include the pump and power supply, rarely the issue is a weak power supply or bad pump. Make sure to include a return address and phone number.
