Osmolator Issue

Morning Roger:

I have been using my Osmolator for a couple of yeasrs now without a hitch. Now, all of a sudden, the sensor works fine, shows green when tank is topped off and blinks red when too low and beeps when too high. But, the pump does not activate anymore. It is almost as if the pump isnt connected. Is there any troubleshooting I can do or should I just order a new pump?

The pump is usually good for 18 months-3 years. I think all you need is a new pump.

Ok, thanks Roger. Can I order through you/do you stock them?

I am completely out of stock on this part. Marine Depot and Premium Aquatics both stock these pumps.

Hey Roger:

I ordered and received the new pump today, hooked it up and still no luck. No yellow light comes on at all. I'm guessing now that all that there is left is the controller? Wish there would've been some way to know that before I shelled out the moeny for the new pump and shipping.

I am sorry, but it is a good idea to keep a spare pump, you will eventually need one. If you send me the controller, as long as it is not due to water damage, I can likely fix it up at no charge.

Morning Roger,
I received the Osmolator back yesterday. It worked for a minute or so, then shut off, it is almost like it is blowing a circuit inside the unit. So, I am having the same issue, the yellow light does not go on when it should signaling the water is being sent...It is all hooked up correctly, the same way it was when it was working for a year and half. I really don't know what to do; now, I am out the price of the new pump and shipping costs to send it to you. Any ideas??
