Osmolator magnet

Hey, I was wondering if it is a common problem to have the wetside magnet of the osmolator swell underneath the plastic? Haven't found too much about it happening, I have had it like 15 or 16 months now and was taking it off to clean and it was just huge swelled up under the plastic.

This is not common, but it should be exchanged, can you email me your invoice? As long as it is under 2 years old we will replace it under warranty.
