osmolator mounting part??

hi

i just purchased the osmolator. i think im missing the part that is #7 in the book. i have looked everywhere for it and am convinced it wasnt in the package of parts. its the piece that seems to be used to mount the float switch part of the unit. i have the piece that mounts onto the rail just not the small half circular part that connect to the float. or am i just not understanding the way this goes together???
