osmolator mounts

Salty critter is advertising the Osmolator as a new version shipping with magnet mounts - but I don't see this elsewhere - is there a new 3155 out?

I cannot put a link to the info but yes it was a recent change. If you google osmolator magnet mount you will see it.

Yes, these just came out a couple weeks ago, it has been mentioned on some reef rumors forums but it has not been updated on our website, most dealers should have the new version, there was no other changes except the holder and no change to the model number.

Roger can these magnets be mounted on the trim of the aquarium?

I have a cube tank and want to make sure before ordering a magnet that it wont drop the water level in my tank to a noticeable level (below the trim).

The water level will be about 1/4" below the trim. The way the magnets work is a nano stream magnet is on the outside and would mount under the trim and a modified Stream 2 magnet is inside and would go under the inside trim or or less to the top. There wouldn't be any way to move them up higher.
