Osmolator not filling

I use the Osmolator on my Biocube 29 reef. It has worked flawlessly over the past 8+ months. Now, I am experiencing an issue - the sensor does not read that the water is low, and doesn't top off the tank.

The sensor light is still green and indicates the water is at an appropriate level, but after 2 days my water level was down nearly 1.5".

I previously (4 days ago) pulled the sensor and scrubbed it with a toothbrush and RO water to clean any gunk off of it, but that didn't appear to work. I am not sure what next steps I should take. Thanks!

Soak it in vinegar, the usual cause is minerals built up on the sensor. Be very careful with the sensor never use anything abrasive, if it is scratched it won't work.

I used a soft bristled tooth brush. I'll try to soak in vinegar tonight - how long should I soak it for?

Ok, so I soaked the sensor in vinegar for about 3 hours...It appeared to work since the water level as far as I could tell was staying consistent. Earlier I was drip acclimating a new critter and the osmolator wasn't filling the tank as it should have been. i dropped the water level inches below the sensor, and still nothing.

What should I do now?

Send it in, please include the pump and power supply.

Hey, so I sent this in last week - but I am not sure my phone number was included or not...I just can't remember.

Can you find out if it was received...I can pm you my phone number if that is necessary.
