Osmolator not working

I have had the osmalator for amout 4 months and no problems until now. Water is not being refilled into the tank. The osmolator indicates that the water is level, however, it is well below level. When i unplug and restart the pump will run for 10 seconds and then it claims to be level. I have checked and cleaned the sensor but it still does not work.

Did you soak the sensor in vinegar? This problem indicates one of two possibilities. The sensor is covered in mineral deposits or the sensor had a leak and saltwater entered and shorted it. In that case the sensor needs to be replaced.
