Osmolator optical sensor failure?

Oops, I was off by a year. I just checked and I ordered it from marine depot on 7/20/2011. I believe the center of the optical sensor is clear but I will take a closer look at it tonight. Would this still be under warranty?

check inside the unit cover, read up a little higher on this thread, there is a sticker with the date.

Yes, if you are comfortable unsoldering and soldering the very small wires to the board, I can send the sensor, you will need a decent needle tip iron and it should be set hot and work fast as the board can be destroyed by overheating or burning nearby components.

Dear Roger, My optical mini sensor is damaged. It doesnt work. I have this Tunze Osmolator for a one year. I would like to fix this problem. Could you send the optical mini sensor to Brasil? Do you have a website?
