Osmolator Problem

So every time I turn the osmolator on, it registers the water level as "Too Low" even if the optical sensor is completely submerged.

I put the sensor and float switch in a 50% white vinegar 50% water bath for an hour to try to break them in. Are they most likely still not broken in? Thanks!

If it is brand new, then it may just need a little more time to break in. Also please keep in mind that the Osmolator goes through a self-diagnostic startup procedure every time it is plugged in or turned on. Part of this procedure is to turn the pump on and run it for 10-20 seconds, even if the water is already level.

Try having the sensor above water when it is plugged in and see if that avoids the too low signal. The controller flashes 4 lights and beeps when first plugged in, this is a self diagnostic test, green after this will mean "pass" everything is assembled correctly and the sensors all work. Yellow means "possible issue" and is usually just a dirty optic sensor, some skin oils being the main culprit and not a serious concern. Red means "fail" but this can occur if the sensor is submerged on start up even when nothing is wrong. This self test is designed to be used on a dry test run.
