Osmolator problem

Hello Victor i have a Osmolator 5017 that i got a year ago but it wont pump water when the level gets low the pump works tho because when i unplug it and plug it back in the pump kicks on but after the start cycle it does not come back on i think the optical sensor is no good plz help thank you

I would first try soaking the optic sensor in vinegar for 2-3 hours, then wipe it clean with a soft towel. After 6-12 months calcium can build up as a haze that is only visible when the sensor is dry. This may be all that it is. If that does not fix it, if you send it in we can replace the sensor.
