Osmolator pump failed

I came home to a low water level in the sump, and apparently the pump stopped working. The controller thinks it's on, but its not. Over the past few weeks after I refilled the container the pump would spin but not pump water, I would have to smack it a few times. Now it's just completely off (no hum, no movement). FWIW, I'm pumping RODI, not kalk.

Any ideas?

How old is it? The pumps are a consumable that usually lasts just a couple years.

Yeah, its 2-3 years old.

Marine Depot and Premium Aquatics both stock them they are less than $20.
