Osmolator Pump Issue

My Osmolator reservoir was running low on RO, so I refilled it. At the time, I noticed that the main housing lights were on flashing red. I unplugged the unit and then re-plugged it back in. The yellow light lit up...slowly...

I couldn't hear the pump doing anything, so I inverted it to make sure there wasn't any water in the pump housing. Still nothing. Then the controller light goes to flashing red. According to the manual, it's either the pump or the motor? Aren't those the same?

Anyway, what can/should I do? TIA

I would send in the pump and controller as it could very well be the controller and not the pump. It will just take a couple days to test and repair.

Sorry, didn't ship it until today, but it's on the way. Thanks again Roger.

I am having a similar issue... what was the diagnosis?

In this case the pump and wiring were the problem, I responded to your post. In my notes on this repair, I changed the connector as it was corroded and the wiring of the pump had wicked in water and was also corroded and this tripped the PTC.

Well, whatever you did Roger, it works now!!! Thanks a bunch (again) for the help! Tunze service is top-notch!
