Osmolator pump question

They tend to quiet down over time but it is not the quietest pump in the world, things you can do to help are:
Make sure no air is in the pump, tip it upside down on it's next run cycle to purge out air.
Suspend the pump, don't let it touch any hard surface.
Keep a lid over the reservoir to mute the sound. Keeping the reservoir inside the stand is also helpful.
Wrap the pump in mattress foam to mute the sound, leave the bottom open to take in water.
In general the noise should not be intolerable but you will hear the pump running and they definitely get quieter in a little time of use.
