I just purchased a new osmulator replacement pump from marine depot....it has worked well for two weeks now and quit today....the yellow sensor Filling light comes on the pump has a slight vibration but does not pump water....Is there a way for me to open the pump to inspect and repair the impeller incase its stuck, I also soaked it in a vinager solution....

It sounds like the pump is bad, they cannot be repaired, it is just a DC motor like you would buy at radio shack with an impeller on the other end of a seal. Was it used with anything other than just water?

Yes its in a ten gallon vat, that has some kalk residue on the bottom, I quit adding kalk about two months ago, just havent cleaned up the precipate, i keep thinking it will eventually disolve....Well I left the pump soaking in a beaker of vinigar for a few hours and that did the trick Roger..lol just have some vinigar soaked jeans when I pluged the pump back in lol.....I went ahead and ordered a back up replacement pump anyway...

The kalk can do two things. It can jam up the impeller which can be solved with the vinegar but it also can eat through the rubber seal and then the motor is ruined.
