hi guys,
just after some advice, i recently received my second osmolator for my second tank. i plugged it in last night and basically the pump starts filling, reaches the water sense level and keeps pumping.

so basically the green level led and orange 'pump' leds are both on and they stay on well over 5 minutes, it gets to a level where the 'water too high' sensor triggers and stopped the whole thing.

is my water level sensor broken?

yes the water outlet is well above the pump. running at 9v

any ideas?

About 9 months ago we purchased a new injection molding machine. The new machine can cast parts so perfectly that the finish is too smooth. This is great in the long run but because new plastic repels water a small bubble of air clings to the sensor causing an error. I would rinse the optic sensor under hot water, about as hot as you would bath in but not scalding. You can use a bit of soap and then thoroughly rinse it and wipe it off. This will eliminate the hydrophobic property which is the same thing that prevents a new skimmer from working perfectly. If this doesn't fix it let me know.

If it is OK with you just send it to me and I will replace it. I only need the brain unit with the sensors, keep all the rails, pump etc. Send me a PM with your shipping info and return the other to me ASAP.
