Osmolator

I have a constant high level alarm with my osmolator Roger. Even when the water is below the sensor, I think a oring got loose and the sensor is fried. I went ahead and ordered another osmolator from marine depot, but mine only lasted a little over a year, is there a replacement part for the high level sensor? I would love to be able to fix the broken one so I could use it on one of my other salt water tanks.

Yes, I can replace the sensor, it has to be soldered on to the board, provided this is the only cause of the fault it is easy enough to fix, unfortunately more often it is a short on the board caused by salt creep or water and this has a low success rate of repair. Their is really no oring in the sensor it is a magnetic switch sealed with PU resin where the cable enters. Any source of magnetism if you recently added or changed pumps, ballasts etc can often also be the cause of this problem.
