OK, the wife and I went to the 98 Rockfest concert at Raymond James stadium yesterday.
Great music, great people watching (OMG there were some "live" ones), everything that should have made it a great concert.
Now, I know a lot of people will say "so, what's wrong with that", but I have to say it. They had three lines to get beer from, while they only had one line for water. WHAT?????
People dropping left and right from heat exhaustion. It was crazy.
I watched people reselling their water for $8-10 a bottle. Keep in mind they just stood in line for at least an hour to get it, and paid $3 for it. But people were buying it, just to get something to drink.
Bad scene with the limited water.
I just watched the news talking about this issue.
We had a great time, but hated seeing so many people not taking precautions with dehydration. I bet they do next year.
