OT - Any ATT Uverse users here?

considering switching from Dish to Uverse. any feedback/experience regarding Uverse?

picture quality, ease of use, cust service, works as advertised, etc.

I would just recommend comparing the actual HD offerings channel by channel. when I last checked dishnetwork's hd channel listing was much more expansive than either ATT or Comcast.

are you just looking for ATT Uverse for just TV or

combination w/ internet and phone??

I (well my parents. lol) have ATT uverse only for

internet and phone both are fiber optics...

and they are really better than just normal dsl for

reliability and speed. However, when it comes to TV

its so damn expensive!! think least 60bucks a months for

lowest package w/ HD on it. my neighbor was built about

1.5yrs ago.. and 90% of neighbor is using ATT Uverse for

internet (Fiber optics > cable) but 90% of them use dish for

TV cuz it's much cheaper....

I have it Tim and love it...Save a bunch of $$ and the service works flawless for me.

One thing I love is that I get discounts across the board since I have ATT UVerse, Internet, Cell, and home phone!

I've heard from several that the install can be a major pain in the arse. For one, it took many tries before the install was successful.

I can concur that the install takes anywhere from 2-6 hours depending on install needs. I work for an AT&T Vendor and have been involved with UVERSE since its inceptions 2yrs ago. Great
fiber optic service. It is true that price-wise Uverse is becoming just as expensive as the others. I don't have the service now since I moved to Elk Grove, but loved it as a trial participant.
