OT: Any Sharks fans?

Am I the only one basking in the glory of a fantastic start of the season? If you have ever wanted to get into this sport, now is a VERY good time to do it. I guess thid thread is sorta on topic... fish, sharks....yeah, it's a stretch, but whatever...

Yeah the 2nd, 3rd and 4th lines have stepped up early on this season. Pretty impressed with Vlasic as well. We need more Parker though. Clowe and McClaren are BARELY enough muscle. We are still getting beat up on occasion. If only Parker could get some legs...

Warriors - still suck
Niners - SUCK
Raiders - SUCK
Giants - false sense of being good - SUCK
A's - Good / consistent but always falls short

that leaves the sharks... got something going for them.. they're good small but loyal fan base..

mclaren and clowe are not the only muscle, bernier and grier are some of the strongest power forwards in the league, brought to the team for that reason.

Granted, Bernie has throwing his weight around. I think Grier has the potential to be muscle, but i think he needs to develop a bit more before i consider him a power forward.

My prediction for saturday's game:
Sharks win 4 to 2
-Patty with a goal and a helper
-McClaren with a goal
-Thornton with 2

Its his ninth year in the league, not going to develop much more at age 31.

I think that him playing with this dynamic team MAY allow him to develop even more. He can learn a lot from Joe and Patty.

So I talked to Scotty Hannan today and he says that they are getting fired up for Tuesday's game. Looks like Cheech will get the green light on wednesday vs. the Kings, but no Ducks for him...

i disagree.....warriors are looking like one of the better teams in all of basketball, not just the west....they have passion,and they run teams off the floor....and if everybody stays healthy[baron davis,andres biedrens,pietrus,monta ellis,jrich etc..] they will be a serious contender...

niners are lookin solid,not an elite team,but there defense and offense have taken huge steps...add a real coach like nolan,the defense of young,moore and lewis and the offense of gore ,the niners will most likely make the playoffs this year...vernon davis will be back next week as well...

raiders suck,,,agreed

giants are a great team,theve had two bad-decent years in a row, but there the giants,and will win the west this year...

I asked Scotty the same thing and he wasn't sure. The way DW has been changing the lines up lately, I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up somewhere else.
