So I'm driving home yesterday like I usually do...
..I'm driving down Lafayette and as I get close to the intersection right before Bunger, some girl pulls out right in front of me (intersection of N. Roosevelt and Lafayette). It's raining, it's cold; there was no way I could stop in time. I slam on the brakes and swerve the best I can. Oblivious to the fact that she pulled out in front of me about 3 car-lengths away, I tag the rear passenger tire of her car and spin her around.
I respond with the ever-popular 'MF-bomb'.
I'm ok, she's ok, no one got hurt. I totaled her car (which still had paper plates). My father-in-law estimates my car has $2000+ worth of damage (broken headlight, wrinkled hood, bumper damaged, everything shifted to the left).
So I take today off for vacation; never did I expect to spend the day getting repair estimates and dealing with claims.
I hate ****ty drivers.
