Im looking for some good Missouri BBQ sauce that is good for ribs and chicken

what is your favorite?

also where can it be purchased?

Being from Texas I am allergic to BBQ sauce. We southerners prefer to use a meat rub so you can actually taste the meat and not just the bbq sauce. The only time I use bbq sauce is if I burn something by accident.

Sweet Baby Rays, Super Smokers and Maulls are good. You can find them at Schnucks and Dierbergs.

Gates and Sons is a chain in KC and theirs isn't too bad either . They include a lot of celery seed in theirs so if you don't like it then you may want to pass on it. It's also available at Dierbergs.

I agree, with the exception of bbq chicken and i typically make 1/2 of my ribs wet 1/2 dry.

a good steak shouldn't need anything.

I ionly use Maul's sweet and smokey with a little beer added. Has to have the beer added though to make it taste the way I like.

Get some Jim Beam's BBQ Sauce and dose a full bottle with another full bottle of dark chipotle sauce.

hey sirreal how you RUB YOUR MEAT is your own business, usually dont discuss it but we all do "it". i would have thought someone would have beat me to it. LOL

holy, thanks for the suggestions

out of everything suggested Ive only heard of KC masterpiece up here (it is my favorite)

so I will check out the grocery store when Im there next week, if I remember there are some grocery stores by the hotel
