Anniversary is coming up and want a excellent steak. Price doesn't matter. Here are a few i was thinking about.

Del Friscos, Never been

Capital grille, Never Been

Elways, Never been

Ruths Chris, Been to in California, I always got a good meal. Bone in ribeye is my weakness:)

Mortons, been to in Cali. Had mixed reviews but overall very good

Thanks,

Davey

Haven't been to a lot of steak houses, but Black Steer in Loveland has a dang good Pepper Steak..... "Our signature Steak
We marinate and season this 10 oz. sirloin steak with our secret recipe."

Though, that is the only thing I have ever had there.

I went to the chophouse a couple of times and the steaks were thick and a butter knife will cut them imo thats is the best bang for the buck. Its about 25 dollars for a steak plate. Also if you like they have a really good calamari its seasoned really good i have not found any to compare. Just for your info i am a food critc so this place is good also it is a brew house.

I went to Elways last year and it was really good. I would recommend it, although I went to the one in Cherry Creek have not tried the one in downtown. Another decent one is The Denver Chophouse. I had the prime rib there and thought it was pretty good. I too love me some ribeye steak. I think Elways would be good for an Anniversary dinner. It was over 100 bucks for two meals and an appetizer, if you were drinking expect to pay a bit more. But I guess if price doesn't matter than your good to go. Good luck.

Ruths Chris- been a few time real good.

Capital Grill-never been, but heard really awesome thiings about it.

Mortins-good

Del Frisco's-never been, but again heard good things

Elways never been-but I've heard better reviews from some of the others you mentioned.

Denver chop house is pretty good too, been a few times.
Having never been to Capital Grill and after the things I've heard about it I would be inclined to try it.

Good luck and happy anniversary!!

I have been to Ruth Chris, Mortons, 4th Street Chop House (Lvld), Black Steer, Denver Chop House. All great places.

I have been to this place in their Palm Desert Location. I *highly* recommend it.

Atmosphere is top notch. Great Anniversary Gig (did it for mine in Palm Desert).

A lot of nice places have been thrown out there. I have had some great trips to Del Frisco's. Good luck with your choice.

Man that makes my mouth water :D I haven't had a good steak in a while.

I don't eat steak (but tag along and get whatever the chicken dish is) but my husband says the chophouse downtown. Bonus would be maybe you can catch a Rockies game too. :)

Del Friscos or Brooks (DTC) The Best in IMO

Capital grille: Never Been

Elways: never been, but have heard great things.

Ruths Chris: never been

Mortons: very good as well

Sullivans: If I want to spend less that Del Frisco's

Denver ChopHouse: very close to Sullivans

Thanks guys lots to choose from. The chophouse in Denver i take is way better than Boulder. The one in Blouder is awful! Went for my Bday in Feb Ribeye was paper thina nd way over cooked. Asked for Medium rare and got well done. Was so bad i didn't eat it. The manager was nice enough to give the meal for free and gave us $60 worth of Certificates. So we went back 3 weeks ago to use the certs. GOt the Prime riba s well did my father in law, AWful. So chewy. It was just really bad. My wife did get a vegetarian dish she really liked. But we will never return there

Speaking of great steaks, I would have to say Trail Dust Steakhouse has one of the best pieces of meat out there. I have been going there since I was child. Now it might not be the fancy place you are looking for, but it is a real neat place to go. My girls get crazy excited when I mention we are going there. Congrats on your anniversary and have a great time!!

We just had ours last Wednesday -16yrs :)

Del Frisco's - My personal favorite and highest recommendation

Capital Grill and Elways's - Tied for Second

Sullivans and The Keg - Excellent and not quite as pricey

Well actually the best place which has a 5 star rating in my book is myself. For $100 you get an apatizer followed by the house salad, then the best darn steak you could ask for. And always at Tajjo's the great scenery of my messy back yard is free and the mosquito bites are 1$ per. Did I mention you get to wash it all down with the cheapest wine on the shelf? Lmk reservations are running low. Jm. But good luck I haven't been to any of those steah houses. I've always heard great things about elways.

4th st Chop House in Loveland! Soo goood! Best steak I have ever had. My wife doesn't like steak but she loves the salmon there.
