I agree with this, but let's be fair here, Manning and Brady have much more than just time in the pocket and rocket arms. They have something that you just can't teach. They are elite QBs. Its still unknown what Smith can do, but saying hed be Manning or Brady if he had some time might be a bit of a stretch!

Yes, but, that list also has the best O lines in all of football. GB fixed their O line this year, and compare them to just 1 year ago. Cincy's had O line trouble this year, and Palmer is not the same QB as a year ago. Heck, look at what Cleveland has managed to do with a backup QB once their line was adjusted. Not saying Smith belongs anywhere near that list, just no way to know at this point.

Also, with the exception of GB, each of those teams has exceptional talent at WR, and Driver, Jones and Jennings are no slouches. Just can't group them with Housh, Johnson, Owens, Moss, Harrison & Wayne

O-line makes up 90% of the offense IMHO.
No O-line = no run, no pass.
They are the unsung heroes of the league. They get no attention because they have no stat categories.
When Peyton's O-line was compromised, his team offense stuggled.
Look at Minnesota. You could put anyone behind that line and they will dominate.
Seattle wishes the had Hutchinson back. Thats for sure. Its no coincidence that Alexander dominated behind him. Now Peterson and Taylor have him to thank for their success.

agree 9ers WR's are not that caliber but i think Battle is pretty darn good. just no QB to throw to him. D. Jackson is awful

Dallas d makes every qb look like peyton manning but they make plays we needed.. But yeah o-line has alot to do with it. Now you guys know why we let larry allen go.

Seattle didn't start beating SF until 03'. Now I didn't go through it with a microscope, so there may be a couple of losses I missed. But it appears as if we OWN the Seahawks this 1/2 century...And even after we turned into the laughing stock, we still managed to dominate Seattle last year. Sorry Paul, had to do it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the 9'ers are anywhere near great. We're far from it. But Seattle is no daisy either. They are just the best, of the worst. St Louis 3-10, SF 3-10 , Arizona 6-7.
And yes, we are nowhere near the teams of the 80's and 90's we once were. We have changed ownership, made poor decisions as a result, and yes, we are in a dark period as I said before. Just like the Seahawks were for the past 40+ years.
We will be back. Next year? Nope. This Decade? Nope. But we will be back.....
And no, Petrino will not be a part of our resurrection.

Hiring Petrino is what the Razorback Organization needed. He is a bigger name coach.
There are a lot of coaches who do the same a Petrino. Think about this.....Had he been interested in the Michigan job and gotten it, the media would think he is the best thing since pie. I have been in hog country my whole life and Arkansas gets jacked by the media anytime the get the chance. Bottom line is we don't care. We needed a good coach and B.P. is one.

I consider that DOMINATION. not sure what you would call it though So you can have your 4 of the last 5 seasons (even with our sweep last year) and the Seahawks are still a joke in the whole scheme of the NFL. Nobody takes them seriously. How many championships do you have?
I was definetely still a virgin the last time the 9'ers won the SB, but you'll be long gone before the Seahawks ever get theirs.

Seattle entered the NFL in 1976. Who gives a crap if they were some minor league team in Miami before that. Are we now counting those years in their records? Can you tell me if they won any chanpionships that I can be proud of while in Miami? Maybe, since you are counting that a Miami team with a different name was actually the Seahawks, in another life before the NFL there are potentially Hall of Famers that played for Miami...err I mean the seahawks that I don't even know of...Please share your vast research with me...
