Sorry guys but I will not be able to make it this weekend, a trip to the tortugas came up and I cannot pass that up. Good luck and post a report when you get back.
 
a friend off my went to tortugas he spend l $800 more in the trip he caught a bonito fish and a 7 pound king fish but tortugas is a very good place for fishing was just bad luck sonic u post a report to and pics if u can................... :D
 
must of been there at worst possible time or with a crappy captain... Its very hard to get skunked over there, this is from our last trip

Hey Sonic...post some details about the tortuga trip.
Name of the boat and cost, if you don't mind.(if it's a public/head boat.
 
The pic I posted earlier is from a trip I made on the Yankee Captain, which is a head boat. 2 day trip, strickly hard core fishing and cost $310, there are longer trips as well http://www.yankeefishing.com/

The trip I'm going now is on a friends boat, leaving next Friday morning to sunday afternoon. So this weekend I can't go with you guys cause I have to prep a lot of stuff and go bait fishing. We'll be camping out at the Fort with a bunch of other people, its actually a "forum" trip from one of the fishing forums I post at; and its going to be a blast.

I will go fishing by any wether condition if no one want`s to go I will go by my self this weekend I really will go to the keys maybe i can`t snorkel but fishing is for sure :D

but it was a question brought up by Rogger, and I wanted to know what everyone else thought.
 
Cubano, I bet all you need is fishing line wrapped around a coke can, a weight, and some hooks....probably bread for bait and you'd catch a grouper or snapper!!!!! lol
