OT- car enthusiasts

That is incredibly trick! My only concern would be a stone on the highway that chips your windshield would go through alot of "fabrics" (they did not specify what they used).

I love the lights that can be seen through the skin, as well as the openings for the doors and the headlights. Cool stuff.

I don't know what this guy is doing but this new X6 is gross. It looks like a coupe version of a Ford Edge with fancy lights.

The CS is not that great looking either.

This Gina looks pretty cool...but I don't know how well it would do marketing wise..."The new BMW has saran wrap as a shell! Light as anything and much more energy efficient to make! But, wait, still $60K base!"

The Gina is a concept so it wont be sold as a production car. I read another article about the skin on the GINA and it claims to be able to withstand the elemements from your normal everyday driving. They also said that if they were to use that material in a production car that it wouldnt be used as a body shell but to use it for certain parts to bring weight down or on interiors. That would be cool to be able to switch from your regular seats to sport seats with a touch of a button :)
