OT-Cars... Tips on buying a car, Help FINDING a car, and general car information...

Yeah the Toyota factory in Texas is actually larger than the one in Japan, at least from what I have read.

the company's build most of there fleets here. a couple of months ago in the autoweek they posted the major manufatures and where they build and toyota, honda, nissan are done mostly here and the domestic's are relying on parts outside of the us. leave it up to us to want more money and do less work. nissan's company over here is nissan of north america if that says something

Hey Seth. My friend has a 91 Honda Accord with I think 120,000 miles on and it runs like brand new. The paint is in awesome shape and the interior is perfect shape. The car has been garage kept and my friend is second owner. I think he will let it go for around $4,300 bucks maybe $4,000. Oh brand new window tint, ice cold A/C.

If you can get some pics of it, i am taking all of the info i can, so that i have alot of options, but just so that you can show your friend...here is a link to the KBB that says that even the DX edition should be nothing more than $2k

Thanks though, i love that you guys are offering me this stuff, that is what i was wanting too!:)

It was already mentioned www.autotrader.com This is a good place to do a little research. I have 3 Lexus's and currently still have 2. A LS 400 is rear wheel drive V8 not a front wheel drive V6 Camry. I know guys were joking but wanted to make it clear. Since I have purchased 2 used Lexus already there is one thing I want you to realize. Certain cars are more expensive to maintain. Just keep things in mind like tuneups, tires, and yadyad. Take your time and congrats on your new ride....

Wow, i like that site, thanks Becca, and i gave autotrader a chance, and i like that better than cars.com thanks to you aswell!
