Heyo krunchy

Ive been good.....busy I suppose.

Ive been working on a LOT of stuff.... ill give a quick break down.

got a glass cages 175 gallon tank for $100 bucks

Took it apart......(ALL PANES)

Cut em

Did my research and stuffs

Got 9 people with myself to put my new tank together in under 4 mintues.

Now I have a 6 ft x 30" x 15.5" 1/2" glass Starfire rimless thats been holding water perfectly for 3 weeks in my cousins garage.

Deflection on the main panes is recorded at a max of 0.5 degrees departure from its respective horizontal. The panes also scooted over 55 thousands of an inch in each direction after I filled it (which seems to be what most tanks are budging out now a days).

Other than that, im taking classes (one of them is called Mechatronics [NO, im not kidding]) and designing/building two very large machines for my dads factory.

So im havin fun....

John, it was a simple kiss from my 7 year old that went terribly wrong
she jumped up to kiss me, hit her forehead into my nose and knocked me out cold, don't no how long i was out, but the next 3 days were weird

Glad to hear you have a new tank coming together. Where's the build thread man? Don't leave us in suspense.

Oh and i'm totally envious of you being in a class called Mechatronics. That sounds like a ton of fun. Let me know when you build one of those giant battle robots like in the Matrix. I've been needing one of those ...

Yeah I dont know about that krunchy. No robots yet, ASIMO is the closest thing to it right now. Check it out. Hes made by Honda.

No build thread really because I knew I wouldnt keep up with it. I did SO much research and preparation in order to get this thing working the right way....but getting that all documented, is an entire project in itself.

I successfully took an old tank apart and made my dream tank. It took me 3 months....and it cost me way less. Score.
