OT: Feel Bad for Paly

Today I got the post office notice when I got home. The package is my Joker Paly which I sold last month to one of the reefers here in California. It is too late now, the post office already closed so I can't pick up the package. The package is sent on August 18 and arrived on August 19, but he didn't pick up. One week later, the post office clerk gave me a call about "left notice and unclaimed". I was like "What" and I gave him a call through the phone number (his work number) from his paypal. One of his secretaries asked me for track number and I gave her track number to pick up the package to see if anything survived (hope). Haven't hear from them since. I thought they already pick up and everything is okay until today. I feel very sad for my Paly and the guy who didn't pick up. They probably are death by now ( 24 day in the package). Who is responsible for this disaster? Should I take it back or tell the post office to resent it? I don't want any charge.

The buyer never contacted you?

If you sent it to the correct address, I'd say it's his fault. However, that will not help you if he paid via Paypal, as their rules state it's the seller's responsibility to get the goods to the buyer.

However, if he hasn't contacted you by now, it seems unlikely he will file a dispute. It sounds like something may have happened to the buyer? Does he have any recent RC posts (assuming that is how he found you).

I'm sorry to hear about your paly:(.

daniel,

if you take it back to the post office to resend a returned package, you will have to repay the postage again. looks like you will be loosing out on more money if you resend it.

it seems like it's the buyers fault in this case... i don't know about anyone else, but if i was expecting some corals through the mail, i'd be on top of it and waiting impatiently for them... i don't think i'd let 24 days pass by and not wonder where they were... maybe joyce is right. maybe something happened to the buyer. anyhow, hope it all works out in your favor bro...

I would have to agree with the above. I hope nothing bad happen to the buyer but you should have any problem with paypal if you sent it to a confirmed address and he didn't pick it up.

Call the number again and ask to speak to the guy maybe. I don't think he will file a claim also.

First of all. thank for your inputs guys.
Yes Joyce,I sent it to the correct address on Paypal in order to be protected under Paypal policy. I haven't have a chance to talk to him, all calls were with his secrectary, and I hope he is okay. I didn't sent confirmation pm to him but didn't get reply.
