OT: Finally put up an avatar

I've been on here for a while and been going "avatar-less". I haven't really cared much about an avatar, but last night I change my 4 month old daughter into her jammies that are getting too small and my wife commented that she looked like a starfish. I decided it was the perfect avatar for me. Just wanted to share.

The tank size isn't the problem, its the skimmer that I'm having difficulty with. The bioload she puts on the system is just ridiculous! I think I'm gonna need to get me one of these. (not sure why it won't show as a pic, so had to link to it)

Davey, you need to put up one of your girl, too.

You'll need a bigger skimmer than that by the time she's a teenager, Mark. Take it from someone who KNOWS!

Mark, I don't think even that skimmer can keep up with the Astropecten toddlerei starfish. Even the daddy changing machine prefilter has a tough time keeping up!

I was wondering how I would do it myself, then looked at the resize option on Photobucket and it has a size called 'Avatar'! Talk about easy.

I dont think i have even seen your daughter, just the avatar.

Funny thing is, she is super cute and everyone says she looks like me:lol: WHich really doesn't match Me and cute that is. I think my wife helps alot!


By the way we are pregnant again. Baby is due Nov.18th.


I know it will be asked and yes we were doing nothing to stop from getting pregnant. I have always wanted a big family. I'm an only child and that sucked.

I gotta buckle down this time i gained 40 lbs last pregnancy. Yes you read that right i gained 40lbs.

I have 11 little ones....................grandchildren that is. Holiday get-togethers at home are insane, but fun.

I've got 2 girls myself, and if you add in my wife, the female cat, and the 2 female dogs, I'm in estrogen central! Don't know if I can risk adding any more.:lol:

Thanks Joe, Yep A Large family is what we want. would say around 5. My girl had me wrapped from day 1. She will be 6 months old on thursday.
