OT: Frozen Feeders for Reptiles, etc.

Hi gang,

I'm going to be placing an order in the next couple of weeks to get some frozen rats for my snakes.

Does anyone have pets that are fed frozen mice, rats, quails, or rabbits? If so, shoot me a PM and we can put an order together. The prices at Rodentpro are great, but the shipping gets expensive for just one person. (Plus, my wife doesn't like it when I have more than 100 frozen rats in the basement freezer!:bounce3

Wish I were closer. Rodentpro is definitely the best. Even with shipping at half the cost it still makes sense, and my science classes love playing with the dry ice!

I used to like snakes and maybe still do a little, but so glad I no longer have to deal with rodents. There was an incident once at the old shop when a large, fully stocked chest freezer in the basement lost power. I noticed days or maybe weeks later.

I defrost under a 75w bulb in a reflector a few inches above. It's slow but it doesn't get hot enough to toast the rodent if I forget about it for a few hours.

No beer, but the Sophomore class is storing about 20 lbs of hotdogs in the freezer right next to... well, you know!
