I'm sooooooooooo glad that we have someone that says Sac is better than LA...I can't believe david is picking a fight with goliath...but this time, goliath beat david (sac) in mega heartbreakers on route to 3 nba championships. If we get another championship soon, man that would be great. But we Los Angelinos have the wonderful memories of Robert Horry piercing the hearts of Sac in the last second, Kobe lofting a 10' ally-oop to Shaq, and many more wonderful moments that tore you guys apart. I remember myself smiling yesterday, thinking about those amazing moments.
I remember those moments, and won't forget soon exactly where I was at, what I was doing, when the Lakers gouged out the hearts of Sacramento fans...
Oh yea, and we plowed right over the Sixers pretty easily in one of our amazing championships.
I think you hate Kobe because you're stuck with a proven loser as your franchise player, and your number 2 guy was Sacto's number 1 guy when they lost so many games to the Lakers during our 3-peat years. If I had those players, I'd become a Clippers fan. Everyone outside of LA hates Kobe as much as the country hates Barroid. I'm trying to figure out why that is. Barroid is a cheater, liar, jerk, etc. Kobe is a confident winner, and he wins.
Yea, it sucks that Shaq is gone. But he was such a baby, demanded more money, never in optimum health, selfish. Don't forget that Shaq demanded a trade after LA refused to give him a raise from $20 million per year to $26 million per year, which is twice the amount of the second highest paid player in NBA history.
Yea, he's dominant, but he's deteriorating, and it's very obvious. LA was stupid in making such a horrible trade, but any smart GM would have got rid of Shaq while he was still worth something, so that we can get something back...and I'm starting another conversation, so I'll end right now.

Like it even matters. Nobody in the NBA is even in the same class as the Pistons. And Kobe is not the best player in the NBA. Lebron is a better all around player then Kobe, and Chauncy Billups also has more of a claim to MVP then Kobe.

Kobe never raped anyone....The funny part abaout that girl that was "raped" was they found a tape of her talking to her girlfriends about how happy she was cause of all the money she thought she was going to get out of him and how she was going to get a boob job also....

shaq is a waste of money. im glad he is gone, his days are over. lebron is a great player, he amazes me being the age he is doing what he is doing. but i think that kobe wants it more. kobe wants to be the best ever and will do whatever it takes to get there.

Funny I thought we live in the US where you are innocent until proven guilty!!
Being an Eagles & Sixers fan though, I see you need to get your aggressions out on a team that has more championships in the last 20 years then your city does in the last 100!!!!
Only good team in Philly is the Flyers..................

The whole Kobe rape case smelled bad from the get go. Just like the Duke situation right now, things just don't add up to make sense. That being said I don't agree with Kobe cheating on his wife, but I really doubt that he forced himself on any woman. He just seems too smart to do something stupid like that.
My problem with Kobe's play on the court is his shot selection is horrible. He settles for too many turn around fade away jump shots. Maybe he has to take those shots because the talent around him isn't great, but still, better shot selection is a must if he wants to be the best. Compare Kobe to Lebron and the difference is amazing. Lebron does everything in his power to make others around him better, sometimes to a fault. Kobe is also in his "prime" and Lebron is just in his 3rd year which is just crazy for how good he is. If Lebron had any talent around him he would of averaged a triple double the past two years, that is just sick.

You got a point. It is irritating to see games where Kobe is triple teamed, and there are teammates standing under the basket, and he forces a fadeaway 3 pointer from 27', drawing a foul, and making a 4-point play (yes, I've seen that happen). But yea, he needs to learn not to force his shot...maybe that trust in his team is lost when they miss easy shots, and he gets to the point that he only trusts himself.

Yeah, I've watched Kobe make some shots that just make your jaw hit the floor. But for every great shot he makes, he misses 3 or 4 other ones. His overall shooting percentage isn't that great, but it would be if he would just stop trying to make everything under the sun. If you are tripple teamed you have 2 open teamates that will have a wide open look. If Kobe wanted to he could easily average 10 assists a game, and if he did the Lakers would be a real force. This is comming from a guy that HATES the Lakers. But as of right now, the Lakers are a one man team that can easily be defeated by a club that plays good team ball.

What people dont understand is this laker team is still "New." They are getting better every year (last year was horrible) and they will be back on top again in the near future (If jackson stays coach)...
