The Lakers didn't play the way they played to get to the finals.
Celtics played a lot better ... gotta give them credit. I guess Cassell can retire and become a coach now. I still hate Boston ... always have, always will.

my prediction of celtics taking it in 6 was right. the lakers are formidable and will be for a long time. they just need to move some of their spare parts like vlade and get some defensive players in the mix. they're getting abused on the boards in the finals when perkins was playing.

Baron Davis is a possibility considering he and Don Nelson had a falling out. Baron says he doesn't want to play for GS anymore but he did hint playing in NY.
We could have had Baron Davis a few years ago for Caron Butler and expiring contracts but Buss didn't want to do it because of Baron's recurring injuries.

What no more Laker fans talking it up? as said before, born in so cal, living away for sometime and still a fan, just saw the writing on the wall, Boston is just simply a better team this year, plain & simple, we will be back, we always do. we have to give kudos to Danny Ainge, Doc Rivers & the rest of their staff who did such a great job in turning this team around from worst to first, simply amazing!

Big ups to Boston, They're just flat out the better team this year!

But, There's always next year for the Lakers! Hopefully we wont have as many injuries, and can make it to the Finals again.
